Good cowboys know when to ride into the sunset
Thank you so much for allowing me space in your newspaper to express my views as they relate to the new developments that are now occurring within the Bahamas Hotel Catering and Allied Workers Union and the dilemma in which it now finds itself.What does John Wayne, Clint Eastwood, Steven Segal, Erick Darville, Keith Archer and Frank Carter have in common? These men are all my heroes.
Why? Well they all possess one good quality: they know like all good cowboys when to ride into the sunset and how to do the honourable thing and leave while the leaving is good.
Not so with Pat Bain, who would rather place self over 7,000-plus members to bring this grand organization into the spotlight again, be it a negative one. Pat, you lost, so stop behaving like a Don Quixote along with your side kick Leo Douglas and accept your defeat.

Left to cherish her memories are her four sons: Eldridge , Kevin. WIMBLEDON, England -- Andy Ram of Israel and Russia's Vera Zvonareva won the Wimbledon mixed doubles title Saturday, beating Venus Williams and Bob Bryan of the United States, 6-3, 6-2.It was Ram's first Grand Slam title. Zvonareva won the U.S. Open mixed doubles title with Bob Bryan in 2004.
The ninth-seeded pair won their semifinal match earlier Saturday, beating No. 3 Wayne and Cara Black of Zimbabwe 6-3, 7-6 (5).
Williams' loss came a week after she was beaten in the third round of the women's singles. She was the defending champion.
